How Real Follow-Up Begins After the Lights Go Out

You don’t need more templates.

You need to learn how to think through follow-up in the moment.

Under pressure.

When nothing’s working.

This week’s weapon is different.

It’s not a worksheet.

It’s a live coaching moment where I helped a sales pro stuck with a cold, closed off former client.

She’s not getting through.

Couldn’t get a call.

Emails?

Dismissed.

The account?

Looking like it’s dead.

So we built a message to try and crack the wall…

Creative.

Respectful.

Human.

Impossible to ignore.

We used the white flag metaphor…(took me some digging to get there)

Flipping the frame.

And crafted a message around second chances not sales pressure.

“I surrender. We failed. Do you believe in second chances?”
